Some thoughts on the
Hungarian Vaisnava Mela
A celebration for the soul!

While we are flying back to Holland through a magical landscape of white clouds, I realize what a lucky person I am. Lucky, because Krishna has brought His merciful devotees in my life. Before me and Lila Avatar came to the Vaisnava Mela in Hungary, we were going through some rough times and because of this my head and heart were filled with worries and doubts. I was impatient and wanted Krishna to show me immediately and clearly what I had to do. Because of this, I had a lot of questions for Gurudeva and I hoped that he could bring some clarity back in my life. What happened on the Mela was much more that I had dared to expect.

Being back under the merciful care of Sri Sri Gauranga Radha Gopi Vallabha, Srila Gurudeva and our Godbrothers and sisters, already brought such a big relief! And when we got the chance to personally speak with Gurudeva, all my worries faded away. All my questions seemed somehow irrelevant. I saw the hand of Krishna in our life, more clearly, and I felt so safe under the loving guidance and shelter of Gurudeva and the Vaisnavas. Now, while sitting in the airplane, my heart feels lighter and I’m filled with feelings of gratefulness, faith and hope.

Thank you Gurudeva, for opening my eyes for the truth and helping me to fearlessly walk the path of spiritual life in this material world. Thank you, dear Vaisnavas, for making me feel safe and accepted in your uplifting association. Thank you, Hungarian devotees, for faithfully organizing this Mela in Nandafalva. It’s been a true celebration for the soul!
